Our house is in an old quarry, and when we bought it five or so years ago, the previous owner told us that there was a tunnel built by the germans during WW2. He said it was big enough to drive into, and that his father had buried the entrance during redevelopments, but not before filling it with stuff that lying around the property (?). He showed me the rough location, and I've marked it on this little map with a red dot....
Because this is Pistonheads, to illustrate another way, here is the location immediately behind my MX5 (Hairdressers car to the uninitiated - driver's knockaround for those in the know).
Since then, an old gardener has told me that it was full of nazi vehicles , but i've always taken that with a pinch of salt!
However, i knew that there were in fact several tunnels nearby on other properties. My neighbours have an above ground one, now used as a garden store which can be seen from the road, and there is another one further up the road, in a roadside bank, which is also being used as a store....
But, the problem with mine is that is completely underground, if there at all!
So I traced some WW2 reconnaisance photos of the property, which appeared to show the entrance road to my bunker. These were taken in 1945, and i've labelled the entrance in red - you can just see the road turning down into the shadow cast by the entrance...
And that's where the quest began.....

More pictures!
Amazing find, can't wait for more updates, I'm eager to see just how big this tunnel is, and how many 'secret' rooms you can find :)
Hi! Hope you find something interesting, like the dude who found a lot of old cars in a barn on his new property:) Be carefull though...mines,traps,holes...
What country is your property in?
Dude! Came in here through b3ta.com, and this is quite amazing. I'd love to see more updates as you post them:)!
This is like something from a dream - so cool!
Can't wait to see more!
I'm living locally [Vallee Des Vaux] and glad to assist if needed.
Have you registered the firearms with SOJP yet? Lenny might get excited!
just a heads up 'onuris'...the thing about the dude finding all those cars in a barn was a hoax!
Nice picture of the Miata, as we call them here in the USA. Looks just like my '04 red convertible. Yeah, it's great for knocking around.
Just had an excited Mum and Dad on the phone telling me about your find, wow, amazing! Never found anything that exciting at Treetops!! Good luck with it all.
Dude that is pretty cool. Man, I would put A/C in there and chill all the time! You looking to rent it out?

Careful why digging you never know if some old surprise or two may have been left behind or some old ordinance may have been left behind. Recently in the U.S. they dug up some old bombs and a tank the bombs were still volatile.
I was just directed here by Ashley's Closet...WOW!!! This is amazing...I feel like I need to catch up to see what's happened...
How cool, I live in US and I find this is really something else like taking a step back in time, did you find anything in there that was worth keeping, and the doors at the end of the tunnel was that another entrance?
This sounds interesting...please keep in posted.
You know, I gotta tell you, I really savour this site and the great insight. I find it to be energizing and quite instructive. I wish there were more blogs like it. Anyway, I just wanna tell you that you did a great job on this. Cheers mate!
I am very interested in this article, because I am an engineering college of civil engineering, this bunker is very useful for many things such as: storage of goods for a confidential place, as a supporting foundation of the building structure that will yield to his kokohan of things nature of earthquake-resistant structures...

Awesome stuff dude, am about to sift through the follow up articles and see how things develop. Just imagine what might be in there. I know this has probably already been answered but I am still excited as I do not yet know the answers!!!
accident claims, personal injury claims, accident compensation
Are there any more updates from 2016 onwards or has it all died off?
